ABCC KIDS VBS “LIVE IT OUT” in July 2025
The Basics
What is Live It Out VBS?
A Vacation Bible School, one week day camp where your child will learn how to love like Jesus through:
Daily bible lessons that equip children with the gospel
Encouraging worship experience that moves kids and volunteers
Rotation activity stations to put faith into motion
What age children can attend?
Children ages 5 to 12 years old. Kids 13 and over can sign up as volunteers. Limited space available for preschool kids ages 3-4.
How much does it cost to attend Live It Out?
The cost os $50.
Can I attend VBS with my child?
No, however you may sign up to volunteer.
Can my teen volunteer for VBS and recieve volunteer hours?
Yes! Please be sure they bring the Volunteer Hours Form from their school or we can provide a letter.
How do I register to volunteer?
If you age 13 to Adult, you can register here to volunteer and must pass a background check.
When can I see my child perform?
On the Sunday after VBS we will have aBonus Show Day! Sunday July 13th if your child wants to sing and dance... VBS kids will be invited to present their VBS theme dance/song on stage! Immediately after service we will have snowcones in our backyard.
What to Bring & Wear
What should my child bring with them?
Just a reusable water bottle.
Will my child need to bring money for food or merchandise?
No. There will not be anything available to purchase on site.
Can my child bring their tablet/game system/etc?
No. Please refrain from bringing electronic devices.
What should my child wear?
Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes that can be played in, and sneakers or crocs (no flip-flops, please).
Food
Will you provide snacks and drinks for my child while they are attending Live It Out VBS?
Yes! We will provide a snack and water Please send your child with a reusable water bottle, as well.
Will you feed my child lunch while they are attending Live It Out VBS?
No, we will not eat lunch at VBS. We will have snacks though!
Can my child bring their own food?
Please do not bring your own food unless you have special dietary needs.
Health & Safety
Have the staff and volunteers been vetted and passed a background check?
Yes, all staff and volunteers who work in close contact with minors at Above & Beyond Community Church must be vetted and pass a background check.
How do I check my child into VBS?
Check-in will be at the front entrance of the church on the first day.
Can my child’s grandma/friend/uncle/etc. check them out of VBS?
Yes, however, the person picking up the child must have the child's pick up card.
